The Education Leaders’ Virtual Roundtable

An exclusive online discussion for IT leaders and decision-makers in educational institutions in Singapore

Hosted by Telstra, the Education Leaders’ Virtual Roundtable was set up to offer an intimate online forum for CIO, Heads of IT, and other decision-makers from educational institutions in Singapore.

Our discussions are very much inclusive and involve all the wealth of experience from senior peers.

Predicting and Adapting to Education’s New Norm as an IT Leader

The outbreak of the coronavirus has become a major disruption to schools, colleges and universities, with most institutions cancelling in-person classes and moving to online-only instruction. This forced and abrupt move to remote learning has thrown up many immediate challenges for IT leaders within higher education.

But as well as the immediate challenges that most establishments have now faced and overcome, it’s what comes next as the ‘new normal’ that IT decision-makers are now looking to prepare and get ready for. We will be bringing together a select group of educational IT leaders for a virtual roundtable on:

  • What immediate challenges have IT leaders faced due to Covid-19 and what preventive measures have they taken?
  • What will the new normal for educational institutions look like?
  • What can IT leaders do to prepare for the new normal within the education sector?

3:50 pm: Guests to check-in online
4:00 pm: Welcome by The Ortus Club and Introduction of participants
4:10 am: Short address from Telstra
