The Supply Chain Virtual Roundtable: Rethinking Risk and Opportunity

An exclusive online discussion for senior procurement executives across Australia and New Zealand

This virtual roundtable explored how an agile supply chain can solve the challenges organisations are facing today, and how top-performing businesses are rethinking supply chains to stay competitive.

The session will explore a joint Coupa and WBR survey that contains candid insights from 200 procurement leaders worldwide exploring how, what and the why of rethinking supply chains for the modern world.

Rethinking Risk and Opportunity in the Supply Chain

The COVID-19 pandemic opened everybody’s eyes to the uncertainty that exists in our world today. CPOs are assessing the impact of the past year on supply chain disruption, and are looking for ways to better anticipate future challenges.

WBR and Coupa Software surveyed 200 CPOs to find out what keeps them up at night. The research found a clear link between risk in the supply chain and visibility into areas most vulnerable to failure. In fact, less than a quarter (24%) of CPOs strongly agree that they have the right metrics to measure the health of their supply chains.

  • How do businesses measure their supply chain’s health? What are the main risks and opportunities in today’s rapidly shifting social, political and economic conditions?
  • How can organisations know the risk of fraud from their third-party suppliers?
  • How are top-performing businesses rethinking supply chains to stay competitive?
