The Naia Dinner

An exclusive dinner discussion for leaders of prominent companies in Singapore

Supported by SAP, The Naia Dinner Discussion was set up to offer a relaxed and intimate forum for business leaders across prominent companies in Singapore to discuss, debate and share best practices on topical issues and business challenges over good food and fine wine.

Discussions were very much inclusive and involving all the wealth of experience from the senior peers in the room. Attendance was by invitation only and was, of course, free for those invited.

You can find some pictures and videos from past events on our Instagram: All discussion abide strictly by Chatham House Rules.

Embracing digital transformation and the new digital economy

Today’s competitive markets demand organisations to evolve faster, become more efficient, and provide memorable customer experiences. For decades, retailers and distributors have thrived primarily on great, existing customer relationships. In the new millennium, simply breaking bulk and having great relationships are not enough. Today, technology is used to create, deliver, and sustain new and meaningful customer experiences and not incorporating technologies like drones, 3D printing, smart vending machines, customer-facing apps, and more into your strategy, might mean you will be left behind.

We are bringing together senior peers from the manufacturing and distribution industry to discuss:

  • Are Singaporean companies adopting new trends like marketplaces, 3D printers, drones, smart vending, and data science into their business models?
  • Are large, highly manual departments like accounts payable destined to become extinct? Can business networks be utilized to automate the processes to become completely touch-less?
  • Which trends and technologies from adjacent industries are influencing distribution companies?

6:30 pm: Arrival and drinks reception
7:00 pm: Welcoming and opening address
7:10 pm: Dinner discussion on “Embracing digital transformation and the new digital economy” initiated by the moderator and continued by the group
8:00 pm: Dinner is served as the discussion is brought to a close
9:00 pm: Change of seats before dessert
